Household Dangers

Every year our clinic sees animals that have ingested a household product that is toxic and potentially fatal.  Below is a list of foods and products to keep your pet away from:

• Chocolate
• Garlic
• Onions
• Raisins
• Panadol (will kill cats quickly)
• Ratsack
• Snailbait
• Lily flowers (particularly the yellow stamens)
• Cleaning fluid
• Tampons (Yes, toxic shock from ingestion and blockage)
